Description
This Minolta SRT 101 appears to be from the first production run, perhaps 1966-67, judging by the serial number, and the slotted top cover screw heads. The camera works, but the exposure metering in the camera does not work, so I used the "sunny 16" rule to guess at aperture and shutter speed. I tested by exposing a 17 year old roll of Kodak color print film from a small stock in my fridge. The outside photos are from this test, with this camera, and scanned using a Canon FS4000.
The lens is a 50mm f/1.7. No apparent dust or fungus. Diaphragm blades are clean.
I cannot speak for the flash unit. There is corrosion on the battery terminals, so it might have some damage.
Also including a Spiratone 2X "TelXtender." (Not tested.)
