Offered for your consideration is this #25 Aqua Marine Primitive 1800's Octagon Ink Well Bottle w/ Burst Top - BIM. This 2 1/4" tall ink is a very early hand Blown Into Mold bottle (BIM) with a 'burst' or shear top, dating it back to the 1800's. Base has a 1-3/4" diameter.
Ink bottle is in shiny clean condition.  It carries whittles and air bubbles, a few scuffs, lip roughness, but there is nothing specifically wrong with it. It is an early 'burst - top' ink well, which means it was broken off the blow pipe and the top was very crudely ground down to a somewhat finished top.
